The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - L. Frank Baum

Dorothy gets stranded in a strange land and goes on an adventure to find her way back home. One day Dorothy and Toto get caught up a cyclone and travel to lands unknown to them, the Land of Oz. The encounter a good witch, a bad witch and a bunch of other characters on their travels. The good witch gifts dorothy with a pair of magical slippers, but what dorothy doesn't know until the end of the story is that if she clicks her heels together the shoes will take her wherever she wishes to go.

  1. excited to see what you do with this, it would be cool to see parts of the typeface missing. Considering throughout the story he feels incomplete

  2. The contrast of this character is interesting to me, because when I think of tin/metal I think of something sharp, loud and harsh. Yet his character is so much different than that! I picture a typeface with sturdy stems and a rounded edge, trying to capture that contrast.
